Alvaro Carrasco (Aknaton), born in southern Chile. From an early age he felt great fascination for the arts, focusing mainly on the plastic. At age 18 he moved to Santiago to conduct formal studies in Design. As a graphic artist has worked for different brands and publishers of his country and abroad. While it is in ’94 where he took his first steps as homoerotic illustrator, it is not until 2004 when on the internet proper showcase to share their work with the world. Through powerful and bold images, his works break schemes, becoming a “slap on the wrist“ for retrograde that still do not accept the just rights of the LGBT community.
